Giving Tuesday: Supporting Ulu Aʻe and Empowering Hawaiʻi’s Keiki
Giving Tuesday is a global movement that reminds us of the power of generosity and community. It’s a day that encourages us all to look beyond ourselves and find ways—big or small—to support others and uplift the places we call home. Here at The Keiki Dept, giving back has always been at the heart of what we do, and this day offers a special chance to reflect on why it matters so much.
This year, we’re proud to announce that our 2025 giving back program will support Ulu Aʻe, an organization making a real difference for keiki and ʻohana in Hawaiʻi. Ulu Aʻe’s mission is to empower and enrich lives through programs that develop skills, build confidence, and promote healthy relationships based on the values and customs of our kūpuna. Their focus on authentic Hawaiian cultural education and place-based learning resonates deeply with us.
Just as we strive to connect families to Hawaiian culture through thoughtfully designed clothing and meaningful stories, Ulu Aʻe is building opportunities for keiki to learn about their ʻāina, their heritage, and themselves. Their hands-on programs nurture a sense of belonging, pride, and responsibility—values we hope every child and ʻohana carries forward.
By giving 1% of our online sales to Ulu Aʻe, we’re investing in a future where keiki can grow up confident in their identity, connected to their culture, and engaged with their community. On this Giving Tuesday, we invite you to join us in celebrating generosity and supporting the organizations that help Hawaiʻi thrive.
Mahalo for being part of our ʻohana and for helping us give back in a way that truly matters.
