In Hawaiian, Kapa Moe means blanket. We don't design ours to look like baby prints — and our customers tell us that's exactly why they end up using them long past the baby years. Many even buy one for themselves.

Frequently Asked Questions
Perfect for newborns and babies up to 12 months — but the truth is, our customers use them long past babyhood. They become toddler nap blankets, beach wraps, comfort blankies, even adult throws.
One of our most-gifted items for baby showers, new parents, and anyone who wants to give something meaningful and made with aloha.
Two things most swaddles don't have: the design and the story behind it. Every print features Hawaiian plants and animals, primarily native to Hawaiʻi. Each piece is produced in small batches, so the designs are intentional and limited. When a print sells out, it may not come back.
Our kapa moe are made from a 70% bamboo, 30% cotton muslin blend. The muslin weave is lightweight and open, which allows air to move freely — making it well-suited for Hawaiʻi's warm weather. The bamboo content makes it noticeably softer and smoother than a standard cotton muslin, and gets softer with every wash.
Machine wash cold on delicate cycle. Tumble dry low or line dry. Wash separately from velcro, zippers, or anything with hooks — bamboo muslin can snag. The more you wash it, the softer it gets, so don't be afraid to use it daily. We recommend washing before first use.
It depends on the print. Our signature prints — like Signature Kalo, Kalo Stamp, BW ʻOpihi, and the Palaka Kalo collection — we restock regularly. Our limited prints are produced in small runs and often don't come back. If you have your eye on a limited print, we'd grab it while it's here — we've had customers come back for a second one after losing their first.
A generous 47" × 47" — large enough to swaddle a newborn comfortably and to keep growing with your keiki through toddler years and beyond. The size is part of why so many customers keep using them well after the swaddling stage.
