The Story Behind Our Prints
We focus on plants native to Hawaiʻi — but we also honor flowers that came from elsewhere and became beloved here, especially in the art of lei-making. Here are the stories behind our prints.

The plant that started it all
Kalo
These prints are inspired by kalo (taro). Learn kalo's cultural role in Hawaiʻi, the Hāloa moʻolelo (story), and why we chose kalo as a symbol for keiki + ʻohana.

For our ʻopihi babies
ʻOpihi
In Hawaiʻi, we lovingly call our babies ʻopihi, the little ones who just want to be held close. These prints honor the ʻopihi (limpet) that clings to shoreline rocks in Hawaiʻi and the keiki we hold the same way.

Lei Collab
Our most popular lei collection — designed in collaboration with Kaulumaika. Learn the story of this partnership, what lei mean in Hawaiian culture, and why we honor both native flowers and the ones beloved enough to belong.
Native to Hawaiʻi
Plants that arrived on their own — by wind, wave, or wing — and those brought by the first Polynesian voyagers, woven into Hawaiian life ever since.
