Lā Kūʻokoʻa Pepili (Sticker) - Hae Hawaii 1843

Sale price$4.00

Every November 28, we celebrate Lā Kūʻokoʻa, Hawaiian Independence Day. On that day in 1843, Britain and France formally recognized the Hawaiian Kingdom as an independent nation. It happened after Timoteo Haʻalilio and William Richards traveled all the way to the US and Europe to make the case for it. For decades after, Lā Kūʻokoʻa was celebrated across the islands as a national holiday.

I made these pepili because I want my keiki to know this day, not just read about it once in school. Stick one on a water bottle or laptop and see who asks about it...that’s your chance to talk story.

Details:

  • 3" x 3"
  • Thick, durable vinyl protects your stickers from scratches, water & sunlight.

Celebrating culture, connection, and the beauty of our island home.
